This technique is very effective since it lowers the amount of land, water, and feed needed to produce meat while simultaneously lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
Furthermore, some people choose to eat meat from non-conventional animals like bison, elk, or wild boar because they are grown on grass and don’t experience the same intense feeding and confinement methods as conventional cattle.
These choices can be healthier and more sustainable because they often include less fat and more healthy omega-3 fatty acids.
